● In the second half of 2017, 1E Translation announced the successful start of our first operation. Our first customer was from financial industry -the reputable China Guangfa Bank - which we provided interpretation and translation services for the conference hosted at Grand Hyatt Shanghai.

In 2008, the company was officially registered with the Shanghai Administration for Industry & Commerce. The registered name is Shanghai 1E Translation Co., Ltd.

In 2008, we provided interpretation and translation services for China International Trade Promotion Council of Chemical Industry Branch, which was our first client from the chemical industry, for the SpeChem China and China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition, which were both organized by the Council

In 2008, we served our first pharmaceutical client, Novo Nordisk – a Fortune 500 company. We provided translation services for the documentations required for their sales training in Shanghai, and also provided interpretation services for their seminars and visits to local clients.

In 2008, we served our first client from the social science and education industry, which was Fudan University. We provided interpretation services for its Shanghai Forum and Roundtable Forum, in addition to translating books and articles related to social sciences.

In 2008, we served our first legal client, Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, which is one of the world’s top law firms. We provided translation services for their legal texts, which required great expertise and accuracy.

In 2009, we served our first client from the automation industry, BST Electric Co. Ltd. We provided translation services for their technical manuals for elevators.

In 2009, we served our first client from the construction and real estate industry, CJ Land. We provided translation services for their real estate promotional materials, contracts, and other related documents.

In 2010, we served our first client from the lifestyle and fashion industry, Ruder Finn. We provided translation services for their press releases and copywriting, and also interpretation services.

In 2010, the Event Service Department was set up to focus on activities involving event management, lighting and AV equipment rental, deploying of interpreters and meeting staff members, and other services for foreigner customers to hold activities and conferences.

By 2011, we managed to acquire over 80 long-term and/or repeating customers (many of which used our services many times over).

In 2014, the Event Service Department was registered as an independent company name Yeah Event Culture Communication Co., Ltd., which focuses on planning and organizing international activities, and providing services for international public relations and marketing communications.

By the end of 2016, we had provided services for more than 600 organizations and had a large number of repeating customers, which includes many Fortune 500, well-known listed companies, trade associations and government agencies.
